Today 03-08-2023 on the occasion of ” WORLD BREASTFEEDING WEEK” an awareness program on breastfeeding and healthy infant feeding practices was organized by the Department of Community Medicine at Rural Health Center Chinnakanagangkuppam. The program was arranged by Dr. Arun Daniel J, Professor of Community Medicine and presided by Dr Rajan Rushender. The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Nithya, the Medical officer of RHTC. The awareness chart display and health talk were delivered in RHTC by our 2nd year MBBS students guided by Miss. Priyadarshini, MSW, Mr. Parthiban, MSW, Mr. Samson, Nursing sister and RHTC health team. 20 Postnatal breastfeeding mothers attended the program and benefited from the camp.
