Admission Procedure

UG Programme : MBBS (4½ Years + 1 Year CRMI)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  1. To be eligible for admission to MBBS Degree Course, a candidate must have passed in 10+2 / H.Sc. (or) its equivalent examination with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology at the Qualifying Examination and in addition, must have come in the merit list of NEET -UG for admission to MBBS Degree Course.
  2. In respect of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, the marks obtained in PCB / Biotechnology taken together in the qualifying Examinations must be 40% marks instead of 50%. In respect of candidates with PWD (Persons with Disabilities) the minimum marks shall be 45% for general and 40% for SC/ST/OBC category.
  3. In order to become eligible for admission to MBBS Degree Course for a particular academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum of 50th percentile marks in NEET UG. However, in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category the minimum marks must be 40th percentile and PWD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates the minimum marks shall be 45th Percentile for general category and 40th Percentile for SC/ST/OBC category.

Candidate shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

PG Programme : MD | MS – 3 Years

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  1. A Pass in MBBS Degree Course or an equivalent qualification and should have obtained a minimum eligibility percentile in NEET- PG.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admissions will be made for UG & PG Degree programmes through online counseling will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS, Ministry of Health & Family welfare, Government of India, New Delhi on the basis of Marks obtained in the NEET Examinations and the eligibility criteria prescribed by the NMC regulations in accordance with the guidelines and directions issued by the Hono’ble Supreme Court of India / Government of India / National Medical Commission, New Delhi and VMRF-DU from time to time.
