Every Stage Of A Woman'S Life.

Obstetric and gynaecological care delivered through modern surveillance technology, endoscopic surgical capability and innovative preventive services.

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at AVMCH is a centre of excellence for skill-based competency development and innovative preventive and therapeutic services. The obstetric division runs modern foetal surveillance and critical care facilities ensuring maternal and fetal well-being, while the gynaecology division offers evidence-based care including endoscopic surgeries, infertility management and aesthetic gynaecology.

Faculty engage in innovative teaching alongside ongoing research, including ICMR-funded and SERB-funded projects on preeclampsia genetics, PCOS and cervical cancer screening, with publications across Clinica Chimica Acta, JSAFOG, Journal of Pharmacy and Bioallied Sciences, and the European Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine.

Integrating high-risk pregnancy care with molecular research on STOX1 variants in preeclampsia, cervical cancer screening, and ultrasound-led diagnostics in complex obstetrics.
