MD Physiology

Doctor of MedicineAdvanced training in human physiology, clinical diagnostics, simulation-based learning, and medical education under faculty trained at JIPMER, MAMC, AFMC, and MAHER.

Program Overview

The MD Physiology program prepares specialists in human physiology with strong grounding in haematology, clinical, amphibian, and mammalian laboratories aligned with NMC and CBME norms.

Faculty conduct basic sciences teaching for institute postgraduates, lead MEU activities, and train students in BLS, ACLS, and JeevaRaksha ECLS programmes. Research spans autonomic function, pulmonary function testing, neurophysiology, and simulation-based medical education.

The department's research laboratory supports nerve conduction studies, evoked potentials, cardiovascular autonomic testing, and structured faculty–student research mentoring.
