Program Overview

The MD Pharmacology program emphasises teaching methodology, experimental pharmacology, clinical trials, and drug safety surveillance. Scholars train in rational prescribing principles applicable across clinical specialties.

The department maintains a CCSEA-registered animal house, herbal garden with 50+ species, and an institutional pharmacovigilance centre for ADR monitoring and patient safety.

Faculty contribute to Phase IV clinical trials, herbal validation research, and pre-clinical toxicological studies aligned with national regulatory standards.
