He joined the institution in 2000, completed his Master's degree in Pharmacology with Gold Medal, and has over 15 years of teaching experience. He has 19 publications in various international journals and is actively involved in clinical trials in collaboration with pharmaceutical companies. The department is a designated Pharmacovigilance Centre and maintains a CPCSEA-registered Central Animal House.
