Dr. Boblee James is a Professor and Head of the Department of Orthopaedics at Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospital. Established in 2000, the department is a dynamic unit with 17 faculty members and 9 postgraduate admissions per year. Specialty clinics cover Complex Fractures, Arthritis, Pediatric Orthopaedics, Hand, Sports Medicine, and Spine. Routine procedures include Total Hip and Knee Replacements, Knee and Shoulder Arthroscopic Reconstructive Surgeries, and Spine Surgeries.

  • Department Established in 2000 - 17 faculty members and 19 ongoing PG research projects
  • 9 postgraduate admissions per year with regular skill lab demonstrations
  • Free monthly Bone Mineral Density (BMD) camps for osteoporosis prevention

  • Beneficiary under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Chief Minister's CHIS scheme
