The Department of Ophthalmology at Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospital provides comprehensive eye care services including Cataract, Glaucoma, Retinal disorders, Corneal diseases, Oculoplasty, Pediatric Ophthalmology, and Neuro-ophthalmology. The department conducts DBCS camps and eye screening programmes across multiple locations in Puducherry and Cuddalore districts, with over 16 camps conducted in 2025.
