Dr. R. Sathyanarayanan is a Professor and Head of the Department of Dentistry at Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospital, with 23 years of teaching and clinical experience. He has guided 10 postgraduate batches at Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Puducherry. He has received ICMR research grants, registered three clinical trials, holds 16 patents with nine technology transfers, and has developed four surgical instruments. He is currently Treasurer of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI), Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
