Excellence in GI Care
Medical Gastroenterology services were started in March 2016. The department has been receiving patients not only from the entire state of Pondicherry but also from the neighbouring state of Tamil Nadu. Patients with various GI disorders, liver diseases, pancreatic diseases, and GI malignancies are being offered excellent curative as well as palliative care.
The department currently has two well-qualified gastroenterologists and is involved in various academic activities of teaching UG and PG students and guiding postgraduate students for their dissertations.
