Dr. R. Mani

Dr. R. Mani earned his degree, MBBS and MD (Pharmacology), from Stanley Medical College, Chennai. He is a distinguished medical academic and administrator with over 32 years of contribution in various medical colleges. Throughout his tenure, he has taken charge of various administrative and teaching positions. He has held the office of Vice Principal at Govt Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College, Salem and Coimbatore Medical College, Coimbatore. He has held the office of Dean at Government Erode Medical College and Hospital, Erode and Govt Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College, Salem.

Dr. Mani’s professional journey reflects a commitment to continuous growth and academic excellence. He has received a Certification of Appreciation from the District Collector, Salem, on Republic Day 2024 for excelling in Hospital Administration as Dean. Further, under his leadership, the Erode Medical College was noted for the Indian Records Academy and the Elite World Record as the largest hospital constructed in the shortest period.

Dr. Mani is committed to fostering the development of faculty and students through structured programs and collaborative initiatives. His dedication to teaching and learning is evident in his active participation in curriculum committees, continuous medical education (CME) programs, and national health initiatives. He is also recognised for his research contributions, including multiple indexed publications and oversight of six institutional research projects focused on improving patient care.
