Dr. John Dinesh delivered an impactful WSPD awareness lecture to all medical students at AVMC, highlighting strategies to overcome suicidal thoughts and support others in crisis a guest lectures in commemoration of world mental Health day 2024 on 10.10.2024. To extend its holistic activity AVMC’s Psychiatry department proudly inaugurated a 24/7 suicide prevention helpline and launched an exclusive awareness video, ‘Manam Thiranthu,’ aimed at educating the students, staff, and faculty on suicide prevention.
