The Directorate of Medical Research at AVMC conducted the Workshop on Manuscript Writing and Publication Processes from April 9th to 11th, 2025. This three-day event was held at the MPH Hall at the AVMC Puducherry Campus. The program was well designed to benefit faculty members, junior and senior residents, and assistant professors, particularly those who had not previously published any manuscripts. The workshop also focused on others having a keen interest in academic writing and a desire to become prolific authors.
The workshop provided detailed, hands-on guidance to participants on converting their research data into well-structured manuscripts suitable for publication. Sessions included topics such as drafting title pages and abstracts, designing studies, formatting manuscripts, selecting appropriate journals, and understanding the submission process. Esteemed resource persons such as Prof. Sarman Singh, Dr. Kuryan George, and Dr. Arun Daniel conducted the sessions, blending expert instruction with practical group exercises, manuscript reviews, and live feedback.
