The CME-cum-Workshop titled “ECG Ignited – 2024” commenced on August 23, 2024, with a moment of reverence to obtain blessings from the Almighty. Hosted by Dr. Ajay Bagalkot, a final-year postgraduate from the Department of General Medicine, the event featured esteemed dignitaries: Dr. Sathish Korah Kuruvilla, Dean In-Charge and Medical Superintendent; Prof. Dr. Sarman Singh, Director of Medical Research; and Prof. Dr. M. Chenniappan, a renowned Cardiologist and Adjunct Professor at Dr. MGR University. Dr. S. Vithiyavathi, Professor and HOD of the Department of General Medicine, and Prof. Dr. Aravind Mirajkar also attended.
The opening ceremony included a rendition of “Tamil Thai Vaazhthu” and the lighting of the lamp. The workshop, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offered valuable learning experiences and deepened understanding of ECG-related topics, advancing professional development in cardiology and general medicine.
