Aarupadai Veedu Medical College & Hospital celebrated International Women’s day on 08.03.2022 at Annapoorani Hall. Dr. P. Nalini, founder and President of Hemophilia Society Pondicherry Chapter, was the chief guest for the day. Dr. P.F. Kotur, Dean AVMC, Graced the function. Dr. Pushpa Kotur, President, WEC, and Dr. Lakhmi Jatiya, Secretary, WEC, presided over the function. Dr. V.N. Mahalakshmi, DHPE, Dr. Vishnu Bhat, Director, Medical Research, Dr. K Jayasingh MS, Dr. T. Raj VP, Dr. Rebecca Director, Nursing Research, Dr. D. Arunachalam, VP (STudent affair) Ms. G. Muthamil Selvi Principal, VMCON Dr. K.S.I. Murali Sankar Director SOP, Dr. Andrew Director, SAHS, Mr. N.D. Rajan DD, ASLP honoured their presence. Dr. P. Nalini spoke on “Break the bias” and talked about the importance of women’s part in daily life. Around 250 students participated in the program.
