A webinar on the sensitization program on HPV vaccination for Medical students was Organised by the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in association with Vinayaka Karkinos Oncology Institute, Aarupadai veedu Medical College & Hospital on 16.12.2023, at 10.00 am through Zoom Platform.
The program started with a welcome address by Dr S. Deepa, Prof & HOD, Department of OBG, followed by a short introduction to HPV Vaccination by Dr R. Sasikala, Professor, OBG. Dr Pushpa Kotur, Adjunct Professor, OBG introduced the resource person, Dr Malini Chandrasekharan, Medical Director-South (Hon), Karkinos Health Care Pvt. Ltd. The speaker, Dr Malini Chandrasekharan enlightened the students about Human Papillomavirus and the need for HPV vaccination, to prevent against cervical cancer and other cancers. The session was interactive with queries from participants being addressed.
The program ended with a vote of thanks.!!!
