The seminar on “The Quality Improvement Framework Goal and Safe Use of Sustainable Technology in Health Care,” held on August 23, 2024, at the New Lecture Hall of AVMC, concluded successfully. The event began with a welcoming address by Prof. Sarman Singh, Director of Medical Research at AVMC and Former Director of AIIMS Bhopal, who introduced the esteemed guest speaker, Prof. Dr. Ramesh C. Deka, Former Director of AIIMS, New Delhi. Prof. Deka delivered an insightful keynote address on the “Integration of Quality Improvement Frameworks and Sustainable Technology in Healthcare,” which captivated the audience. He emphasized six key points, with safety, compassion, and timely management being the most important.
Dr. Sarman Singh, Director of Medical Research at AVMC, Honored Prof. Deka for his gracious presence and for delivering the lecture. The session included engaging interactions between faculty members, students, and the guest speaker, fostering a productive exchange of ideas. Dr. Prasad T, Professor in the Department of Community Medicine and IQAC Coordinator, delivered the vote of thanks, bringing the seminar to a close. Later, Prof. Deka also interacted with the Head and faculty members of the Department of ENT, highlighting the collaborative spirit of the institution. His presence also marked the launch of National Space Day, for which the medical college arranged an exhibition, further enriching the program.
