The joyous season of Christmas and the dawn of a new year is filled with gratitude and warmth with twinkling lights and festive decorations, bringing a sense of magic and wonder. It is a season of love, compassion, and the joy of giving. This joyous day was celebrated on Friday, 22nd December, 2023. The batch of 2022-23 was allowed to organize Christmas and New Year celebrations at Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospital.
The Students, and Staff of AVMC celebrated the occasion with excitement and enthusiasm. The entire students got engaged in decorating the hall and rehearsing for the dance and carols. The students started the program with high enthusiasm and many positive vibes.
Dr Sathish K Kuruvila, Medical Superintendent was the chief guest. He addressed and wished the gathering. Dr Rakesh Sehgal, Dean sent his wishes for Christmas and New Year.
The culture program started with the spirit of love, compassion, and magic. The performance was like a magical key that opened the tightly closed hearts. The audience joined the carol lyrics. The enthusiastic and talented dancers energized the evening with their dance performance.
The Santa Claus came with colorful poppers blasting and a cheerful laugh that spread happiness and joy and a beautiful Christmas theme cake was cut. Cakes and sweets were distributed to around 1500 faculty members, supporting staff, and non-teaching staff as a token of love.
The celebration was a complete package of fun, joy, and unity. The celebration also revealed the unity and responsibility of IGNATIUS 2022-2023. The program ended with love, laughter, and a New Year brimming with endless possibilities. Cheers to a brighter, happier, and more prosperous future!
