On April 30, 2024, an awareness rally advocating “SAY NO TO DRUGS” took place, drawing participation from approximately 200 students from Aarupadai Veedu Medical College & Hospital and the School of Allied Health Sciences. The assembly point was at Kirumampakkam police station, where Mr Vijay Kumar, the Sub-Inspector of Kirumampakkam police station, inaugurated the event. Accompanied by police officials and constables from Kirumampakkam police station, the students marched, vocalizing slogans aimed at raising awareness about the perils of drug abuse. Their chants echoed through the streets as they made their way back to the college campus.
