A testament to the dynamic nature of Orthopaedics, the POACON 2024 the 13th Annual International conference was organized by Aarupadai Veedu Medical College in Pondicherry and unfolded from January 5th to January 7th, 2024. The conference not only spotlighted groundbreaking surgical techniques like Arthroplasty with Robots but also strongly emphasised fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange within the orthopaedic community. Through three overarching themes—Enhance Bone Health, Professional Excellence, and Progress with Self-Resilient Young Orthopaedic Surgeons, along with Success with Surgical and Soft Skills—POACON 2024 provided a comprehensive exploration of innovations in surgical techniques and research endeavours geared towards improving people’s health.
The culmination of the conference witnessed orthopaedic professionals expressing their satisfaction with the wealth of insights gained from diverse themes, innovative approaches, and hands-on sessions in patient care.
