The “PG Focus 2024” scientific program for Anaesthesia postgraduates was held on May 19, 2024, at AVMC&H, Puducherry. The event began with a lamp lighting ceremony and a welcome address by Dr. V. Ezhilrajan, Professor & HOD of Anaesthesiology at AVMC&H. Dr. E. Lenin Babu, President of ISA Puducherry, delivered the presidential address. The program included six long case discussions (e.g., Mitral Stenosis, Hypertensive Disorder of Pregnancy) and five short case discussions (e.g., Obesity and Anaesthetic Implications, Diabetic Foot for Wound Debridement). It concluded with guest lectures on ECG, ABG, Chest X-Ray, and the Anaesthesia Machine. Forty faculty members and 125 postgraduates attended.Presenters and moderators were felicitated for their contributions, and the program ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. E. Shanmugavalli, Associate Professor of Anaesthesiology at AVMC&H, followed by a photo session with the organizing team.
