Laboratory Facilities
The Department has well-equipped laboratory facilities for various aspects of Medical Diagnostics research. These facilities are equipped with advanced instruments and equipment such as real-time PCR systems, PCR systems, deep freezers, biosafety cabinets, ELISA readers and washers, CO2 incubators, gel documentation systems, UV spectroscopy with nanodrop for nucleic acid quantification, and auto biochemistry analyzers.
Animal House Facility
The Department has an Animal House facility that provides a controlled environment for the housing and maintenance of laboratory animals for research purposes. Cell Culture Facilities

Antimicrobial Resistance Research Facilities

The Department has a dedicated genomics lab that is equipped with high-throughput sequencers, real-time PCR systems, gel documentation systems, UV spectroscopy with nano drop for nucleic acid quantification, and other necessary equipment for genomics research.
Proteomics Lab
The Department has a dedicated proteomics lab that is equipped with mass spectrometers, gel documentation systems, and other necessary equipment for proteomics research.
Synthetic Biology Lab
The Department has a dedicated synthetic biology lab that is equipped with 3D printing systems, molecular cloning tools, and other necessary equipment for synthetic biology research.
