The Internal Quality Assurance cell is immensely active in AVMC & H, that takes care to provide the quality inputs on campus. IQAC plays an important role in ensuring quality of the functioning of administrative and academic units of the college.   

The IQAC continuously reviews the functioning of various departments and facilitates necessary changes as and when required. The College has developed quality assurance mechanism within the existing academic and administrative system. Thus, so far IQAC has handled NAAC Accreditation process, UGC reviews and NIRF reviews for the Institute.  



  • Development and application of Quality benchmarks / parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the Institution.

  • Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.

  • Organisation of workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.

  • Documentation of various programmes / activities leading to quality improvement.

  • Preparation of the Annual Quality / Assurance Report (AQAR) to be submitted to NAAC, based on the quality parameters.


  • The development of heightened level of clarity and focus in institutional functioning towards quality enhancement and facilitate internalization of the quality culture.

  • Enhances and brings integration among the various activities of the institution to institutionalize many best practices.

  • Provide a sound basis for decision making to improve institutional functioning by being the change agent in the Institution.
