The morning of April 29, 2024, shone brightly as the Brahmaputra Hostel at Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospital celebrated a significant milestone with the unveiling of its new, cutting-edge gymnasium. The inauguration ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Dr. Rakesh Shekal, Dr. Rajan, Dr. Lakshmi Jatiya, and Dr. Navin Puttum, marking the beginning of a new era for student wellness facilities. The event kicked off with a traditional Ganapathy Pooja, seeking blessings for the success and well-being of the endeavour. This was followed by a thorough trial run of all gym equipment, with active participation from the Dean, vice principals, students, warden, and staff, ensuring both functionality and safety.
As the trial concluded, the atmosphere was filled with joyous celebrations, with sweets shared among attendees as a gesture of camaraderie and excitement. Additionally, crucial discussions were held to ensure the smooth management and operation of the gym, underscoring the institution’s dedication to promoting holistic well-being within its community.
