As Head of the department I am actively involved in Undergraduate and Postgraduate students for past 20 years, and various research activities. I have 25 publications in various national and international journals to my credit.I have been an Examiner for UG and PG medical students for the past 7 years.

I finished my MD in the prestigious Institute of JIPMER @ 2012 and continued as Senior Resident for One Year.I worked in Manakula Vinayagar Medical College as Assistant Professor from 2013 to 2016.Joined As Assistant Professor in Aarupadai Veedu Medical College & Hospital from March 2016 and promoted as Associate Professor & Professor subsequently.I have been actively involved in Undergraduate & Post Graduate Teaching, Research Activities besides routine outpatient and inpatient care

I have completed my M.D in Respiratory medicine in 2017 from the SRM medical college, Kattankulathur , Chennai. After my senior residency , I have worked in Venkateswara medical college as assistant professor in respiratory medicine. I was instrumental in setting up the department of Respiratory medicine in that institution and I have set up a Bronchoscopy suite there and done almost 120 bronchoscopies. I joined this institution in Mid 2019 and since then working here as assistant professor.
