Unique facilities are available like bone marrow study, fine needle aspiration cytology, immunohistochemistry, molecular studies and special staining techniques. We provide diagnostic services to all patients free of cost and with minimal turnaround time. We have a state-of-the-art cryostat machine for intraoperative frozen section examination. We render our services in the hospital at the central laboratory and in the college block at the department.  Our central laboratory is equipped with machines calibrated with international standards and with regular quality checks. Central Laboratory functions round the clock performing hematology and clinical pathology tests.

Our histopathology and cytopathology laboratories at the college block render services including histopathological examination, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, molecular studies, histochemistry, cytochemistry, fine needle aspiration cytology and Pap smear reporting. Our histopathology laboratory is equipped with Thermofischer automated tissue processor, Leica – Semi automated microtome and Thermofischer Cytocentrifuge.
