Dr. D.Arunachalam graduated from Rajah Muthiah Medical College & Hospital, Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar and completed a Master’s degree in Community Medicine Rajah Muthiah Medical College & Hospital, Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar. Currently working as a Professor and Head in Department of Community Medicine, and Vice Principal (SA) in Aarupadai Veedu Medical College no his havingly 11 years of academic experience for teaching UG and PG. Dr. Arun Daniel graduated (MBBS) at Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Pondicherry University in 2008. He completed his M.D in Community Medicine at S.S Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Center, Davangere, Karnataka and passed out as best outgoing student/ gold medalist of the affiliated Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka. He at present is pursuing his PHD in community medicine at Vinayaka Mission Research Foundation, Salem with preventive nutrition in diabetes being the research field of interest. He has worked in government projects as consultant for Karnataka Evaluation Authority, Government of Karnataka in evaluation of the famous Madilu scheme, as PI for Alcohol TB counselling under National Tuberculosis Elimination programme and various other funded projects as well as guided students for ICMR projects. He has received the “Young Researcher Award 2021” from Institute of Scholars for his research work on tobacco elimination. He has published 22 papers in recognized, indexed, peer reviewed journals and presented papers and delivered lectures in various national conferences. He is a reviewer for four public health journals. His specialty areas include NCD field epidemiology and biostatistics with an immense passionate teaching experience for over 5 years. He is member of Institutional Research Committee, Institutional Ethics Committee, Medical Education Unit, Students council, Cultural and sports committee, Tamil Mandram, Curriculum sub-committees and Mentor mentee program at AVMC.

Graduated from Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University and post-graduation MD (Community Medicine) from Sri BalajiVidhyapeethUniversity. Worked as Medical Officer in Government of Tamilnadu medical services for 21/2 years. Was a WHO monitor for IPPI in the year 2015. Promoted from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor on September 2021. As a nodal officer for COVID 19 involved various patient care activities like admission and discharge of COVID patients, Referral of severe COVID patients, COVID death reporting, liasoning between Government and AVMC, Contact tracing and quarantine etc.

I completed my post-graduation in MD Community Medicine from Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital, Chennai affiliated under Bharath University in 2019. Now, I am working as Assistant Professor in Department of Community Medicine at Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospital. I am Dr. Anandbabu presently teaching environmental science for undergraduate students at Aarupdai Veedu Medical College and Hospital, Pondicherry since 2016. I have published seven research papers in national and international journals. And I am an editorial board member of Asian Journal of Microbiology, Biotechnology and Environmental Sciences. My research interests include isolation of bioactive compounds and bioremediation from marine microorganisms. I've worked on bioremediation and bioactive compounds from alkaliphilic bacteria from mangrove sediments. I also have two years of experience working with Green Enviro Polestar in Pondicherry as a project coordinator. in the management of solid waste.
