The 5th International e-conference, BMSeCON-24, themed “Unveiling the Future of Basic Medical Sciences: A Global Perspective,” was organized by the Departments of Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry of AVMC, Puducherry, from December 4–6, 2024, at Hotel Accord, Puducherry. With 542 registrations and 172 abstracts, the event featured oral presentations, young researcher awards, and an undergraduate e-poster competition. Thirteen eminent speakers from renowned global institutions such as Cardiff University and Washington University shared insights on diverse topics like AI in Biochemistry, Neurobiology, and Medical Illustrations.
The conference highlighted advancements in education, diagnostics, and research, with a focus on innovation in teaching, AI applications, and neuropsychiatric physiological concepts. Interactive sessions led by national and international experts engaged attendees, supported by 40 judges offering valuable feedback. The event encouraged collaboration and inspired participants to embrace cutting-edge trends in basic medical sciences.
BMSeCON-24 aimed to provide a global platform for sharing breakthroughs in medical research, diagnostics, and education. It fostered young professionals’ growth by encouraging them to present research and expand knowledge networks, ultimately promoting innovation in basic medical sciences.
