International e-conference on “Role of Basic Medical Sciences in Academia, Diagnosis and Research Advancement” was organized by the Departments of Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, and Centre for Biomedical Research of Aarupadai Veedu Medical College, Pondicherry from 17th-19th November 2022. The theme of the conference “Role of Basic Medical Sciences in Academia, Diagnosis and Research Advancement” was chosen to enlighten the significance of the basic medical science disciplines in the practice of clinical medicine and research. The conference had 810 confirmed registrations and 153 papers for oral and 37 for young Research Scholar Award presentations in Faculty, PhD, Postgraduate and Undergraduate categories. E-Posters competition was also held for undergraduates, in which we had 47 entries. There were 16 eminent National and International speakers. It also represents a source for new tools, models, and techniques that revolutionize research and development beyond the disciplines. So, it is very essential that health professionals be aware of the latest research advances.
