The Department of General Surgery at Aarupadai Veedu Medical College successfully organized ASRRC-2024, a state-level Postgraduate Rapid Revision Course, on October 26, 2024, at the Multipurpose Hall. The event commenced with a formal inauguration, featuring a welcome address by Dr. Ravichandran, Prof. & HOD, and felicitations by Dr. Madhivanan, Prof. of General Surgery, under the support of administrators including Dr. Rakesh Sehgal, Dean, and Dr. Mahalaksmi, Dean-HPE.
The scientific sessions focused on postgraduate case presentations and hands-on training, moderated by 13 eminent resource persons with extensive teaching experience from reputed institutions like PIMS, MGMCRI, and Puducherry Government Hospitals. The event attracted over 70 postgraduates, who enhanced their knowledge through expert guidance and interactive discussions.
The program concluded with a valedictory session, feedback, and a vote of thanks. Participants earned two TNMC credit hours, and the well-organized event was widely appreciated for its focus on academic excellence and postgraduate skill enhancement.
