Rotaract club AVMC, Department of Community Medicine, Rotary Club-beach Puducherry jointly organised a ORS campaign at Periyakanganangkuppam Govt middle school and Anganwadi center. Students Tejal, Anudrita and other students under the guidance of Dr. Pushpa Kotur, Chairman IIC, Dr Arun Daniel, faculty advisor, students council and Dr. Vignesh, RHTC incharge, Community Medicine arranged an awareness program for educating the benefits of ORS and demonstarted the preparation and correct usage of ORS to the mothers of under 5 children. Around 30 mothers and children attended and benefited from the program. Dr Rajan HOD community medicine, Dr. Arunachalam, VP student affairs, health staff of RHTC and students attended the program. ORS packets and refreshments were served to the community.
