AVMC’s Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology conducted the Forensis Pondy 2023 Virtual National Conference under the auspices of the Medicolegal Association of Puducherry. The conference focused on the theme “Responsible Forensic Practice – Hospital to Courtroom.
The conference provided a platform for medico-legal experts from across India to share experiences and knowledge. Renowned resource persons at the national level contributed their expertise to enhance discussions. Diverse paper presentations from different parts of India showcased the richness and depth of forensic research and practice nationwide.
Drawing over 300 registrations, the conference garnered attendance from forensic faculty, medico-legal experts, postgraduates, undergraduates, legal professionals, and police officials. The inclusion of oral paper presentations by faculty, postgraduates, and undergraduates contributed to the academic rigor and overall quality of the event.
