He explained about the case study, no. of Road Accidents held, Demand for EMS has increased Causes of road accidents, and so on. He initiated bringing Road safety into the school curriculum, Basic life support training for interested Public and college students, and Basic life support training for police Personnel and police station on highways. And also insisted that value for own life alone reduces the road accidents. Dr. Vishnu Bhat Director, of Medical Research, introduced the resource person to the audience and Dr. Deepa Shanmugam hosted the program. Dr. Maruthu thurai clarified the question and placed suggestions for the queries from the audience.
