A special guest lecture on “Patient-Oriented Research” was Organized by the Scientifique Society, AVMC, on 10.01.2023, Tuesday at Smt. Annapoorani Mini Auditorium. The resource person was Dr Rohan D’Souza MD, PhD, FRCOG, Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician, Associate Professor, Department of Obs & Gyn and Health Research Methods Evidence and Impact from McMaster’s University, Canada. The speaker of the international tribute delivered his talk on patient-oriented research. He also enlightened the audience on how the quality of patient care can be improved with research and evidence. He also highlighted the need for empathy in patient care, the research to be patient-centred, and finally, the practice of Evidence-Based Medicine.
