The Department of Orthopedics at AVMC&H, is one of the best equipped Trauma and General Orthopedic Centre around Puducherry.

We have 24hrs Trauma Care Facility, manned by able specialists and monitored by senior surgeons. The equipments’ are state of the art and contemporary. we have a Modular Operation Theatre specially designed for joint  replacement and Spine Surgery. We also have a Separate Operation Theatre for Arthroscopic Surgery.

The department is adequately staffed at all levels  with all round efficiency inclusive of a dedicated team of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Operation Theatre Staff and Emergency Medicine & ICU Team. Ours is one of the best, Ortho Centre by any standards.
